Helen: I don’t remember but it was real late. 헬런: 기억은 잘 못하지만 꽤 늦었어. Sally: Where did you go after the party last night? 샐리: 어제 밤 파티 끝나고 어디 갔었어? Helen: We went to a karaoke bar. 헬런: 가라오케 바에 갔어. Sally: How long were you there? 샐리: 얼마나 있었는데? Helen: We closed the place. We sang and danced far into the night. 헬런: 문닫을 때까지 있었어. 밤 늦도록 노래하고 춤췄지. Sally: Well, it’s 7:00 and it’s a beautiful day today. 샐리: 7시야. 오늘은 날씨가 정말 좋네. Helen: I’m not going anywhere today. I’m going to sleep in. 헬런: 난 오늘 아무데도 안가. 그냥 늦도록 잘거야. Sally: You are? 샐리: 그래? (우린 밤새도록 그 클럽에 있었습니다. 문 닫을 때까지 있었죠.) * sleep in: 늦게까지 자다 "I was so tired from work on Friday that I slept in on Saturday. I woke up at 9:30."
